Care Manager - Pershore - £36K!

Amber Mace has an amazing new Care Manager Opportunity based within a small, family run care home located in a picturesque village just outside of the market town Pershore. If you are looking to climb the ladder in the health and social care sector, and have the passion, skills and expertise to lead a care team and provide excellent, person-centred care then this is the perfect role for you!
The home, based within a Victorian country house, has a team of highly qualified staff who offer round the clock to care to all residents. The caring staff always consider the individual needs of each resident and formulate a personalised care plan to support this. In addition, they offer a full activities programme to residents, predominantly use fresh local produce where they can, and have a beautiful new sensory room for residents to use.
The home, which currently has a good CQC report across the board, is currently looking for an experienced care manager to lead and inspire the team in order to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care to all residents. My client is able to offer Monday- Friday hours and is offering a competitive manager's salary of £36,000 plus additional company benefits.

Main Duties for the Care Manager:

• To manage the day to day running of the home and staff team ensuring the highest level of care standards are upheld
• To maintain occupancy levels within the service
• To assist with the recruitment for the home
• To support service users to ensure that their physical, social and emotional needs are met
• To support the personal development of each service user, ensuring that they are treated as an individual with their own unique support needs

The successful candidate will have the following experience and qualifications:
• Proven management experience in a similar care environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
• Elderly / Dementia experience
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• RMA / NVQ 5 or equivalent
