Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Finance Analyst in one of the fastest growing Business to Consumer Retail organisations in the UK, based around the Coventry area.

About Our Client

Our client is a well established Business to Consumer Retail organisation who is seeking a Finance Analyst. They have an amazing culture with a fantastic work environment and you will be reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager.

About The Role

Working in a friendly environment as a Finance Analyst, your job will entail a number of duties.

Duties to include but not limited to:
  • Helping to identify weaknesses and potential improvements across the Business and Finance department
  • Ensuring compliance and monitoring financial controls
  • Analyse KPI’S and prepare data for budgeting and forecast purposes
  • Preparing monthly reports and updating KPI’S
  • Providing data for improvements in processes and new systems
  • Supporting strategic initiatives via financial modelling
  • Supporting the Senior Management team and other necessary duties

What we need?

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background as well as a finance background and understand different financial processes. The ideal candidate must have;
  • Experience in budgeting/forecasting
  • Experience in full mapping and process improvements within an organisation
  • Great excel skills (lookups/pivots)
  • Good communicator with strong communication and problem solving skills
  • A personable and motivated individual who can work in a fast paced working environment

A salary of up to £32,000 (dependent on experience) + Study support alongside;
