My Prestigious client based in Lichfield are currently looking for an articulate and hardworking Insurance Administrator to join their reputable and busy team on a temporary basis with a view to going permanent for the right person.

Duties of the role will include:

• Providing advice on making a claim and the process involved.

• Processing insurance claims from start to conclusion.

• Collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim.

• Maintaining insurance records including recording claims and continuously updating the appropriate software and manual records

• Analysing a claim made by a Customer or Overseas partner and deciding on its validity.

• Progressing and monitoring of all claims to conclusion, including any available recovery from subcontractors or partners.

• Addressing any queries related to claims in a timely fashion.

• Ensuring the customer is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines.

• Handling any complaints associated with a claim.

• Adhering to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company.

• Managing ‘All Risks' quotes and reporting ‘All Risk' cover to insurers.

• Management of Fleet reporting to insurers, ensuring all vehicles are on declared on/off cover as appropriate

• Filing the necessary paperwork for all insurance related matters

• Handling property inspections if an insurance company requests to visit a company location.

• Fleet management as specified in previous section

• Quarterly reporting of Fleet alterations to insurers

The ideal candidate will have:

• Good working knowledge of trading terms and conditions and laws

• Experience working as an administrator

• Good attention to detail.

• Good IT skills.

• Conversant with standard Microsoft office packages.

• Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.

• Clean driving licence.

• Tenacious, hardworking and diligent work manor

• Good communication skills and an excellent telephone manner.

This is an temporary position with the opportunity to turn permanent for the right candidate-working between the hours of 9AM-5.30PM and will offer the successful candidate an attractive pay of £9-£10PH dependent upon experience.
