Our client is a prestigious business based on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. They are recruiting for an experienced Accounts and Office Manager to join the business in a permanent job role. This position doesn't have any direct reports but the successful candidate will take responsibility for the accounts to trial balance and all associated administration records for the different areas of the business.
Working closely with the Managing Director the responsibilities of the Accounts and Office Manager will include


• Purchase and sales ledger
• Updating all supplier and client records
• VAT returns
• Credit control
• Process monthly payroll for 25 employees
• Bank reconciliations
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports


• HR Administration
• Manage the office diary and website
• Taking and preparing meeting minutes
• Data protection
• Health and safety documentation
• Staff administration and training
• Management of utilities and sub-contractors
• Answering the telephone
• Capable of managing a wide range of duties in a busy office
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong computer literacy skills, very competent on Excel, Word and PowerPoint
