Looking for a Chef to join our team and assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef in our kitchen and work together to achieve a common target. You will be a vital part of the kitchen team and adhere to all food hygiene standards. As well as being a golf club the location hosts weddings, conferences and other functions so differing food preparation skills will be required.

The position requires a minimum of 30 hours per week. Shifts and number of hours will vary depending on the level of business and time of year with more than 30 hours required during busy periods and to cover annual leave. Opening hours at the club vary due to the level of business and the time of year.

The hourly wage on offer will be dependent on experience. Annual leave is accrued dependant on hours worked, bank holidays will be paid time and a half. There is a company pension scheme available and we offer complimentary use of the golf facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

?? To prepare and present food for booked in function business and bar checks that come in.
?? Assume responsibility for the upkeep and tidiness of the kitchen area in line with the company's minimum operating standards.
?? Be responsible for the correct implementation of all company health and safety policy and all other statutory requirements.

Key skills required:

?? A minimum of a food hygiene certificate level 1. Further training may be offered upon completion of probation period.
?? To be able to demonstrate full knowledge of Chef responsibilities.
?? Ability to plan and organise workload
