We're looking for three team leaders to join our brand new team in our brand new home. If you have your NVQ level 3 in children and young people's workforce, 12months previous experience in the residential setting and the drive to further your career to the next level, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
Our home is in the process of being refurbished to a high standard prior to reopening. The home itself is a large detached property with a; living area, dining room, kitchen, five children's bedrooms, staff office, two staff bedrooms, library/computer room, conservatory/sensory room, two bathrooms, separate staff bathrooms, Front yard, large garden/patio area to the rear of the property. This home provides a beautiful, welcoming space for the children and staff. Ensuring everyone feels relaxed, at home and safe at all times.
The home specialises in providing treatment for children who have suffered early life trauma as the victims of serious abuse and/or profound neglect. These children having suffered intolerable abuse and negative experiences and as a result have very complex care needs. The children in our care can have serious emotional difficulties that include developmental and attachment problems. Alongside this they experience behavioural problems also including, verbal aggression, physical aggression, insomnia, depression, low level self-harm, eating disorders, controlling behaviours and sexualised behaviours. They will have little if any understanding of acceptable behaviour in groups. Many if not most of these children will have experienced repeated family and placement breakdown. We have the facilities to care for five children of either gender, between the ages of 4-12years old.
Person Specification:

- Must have a full UK driving license
- Must have held their full UK driving license for 12months or more
- Must be 21 or over
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce is essential.
- At least 12months previous experience in the residential setting
- Previous team leader experience desired but not essential

Shift Pattern:

- The rota works on a one month rolling pattern. How it works is you will complete two shifts that consist of a 16hour shift followed by a sleep x2. Then you will have four days off. This allows staff to have a good work, life balance.

Salary Ranges:
GBP10.15 p/h
GBP30.00 sleeps
