LifeSavers Area Coordinator - Nottinghamshire Part time - 2 days/week Fixed term contract to 31 December 2018 Salary up to GBP24,000 pa pro rata Home based, with a significant amount of travel required across Nottinghamshire The Area Coordinator plays a key role in supporting local primary schools to develop their financial education delivery, including the setting up of a school savings club with a local credit union and engaging with parents and the wider community. The successful candidate will work closely with a lead teacher in each of the schools in their region to build an effective on-going relationship, ensuring the schools remain on track with the programme. They will also liaise with the Project Manager and other staff members to ensure appropriate support is provided in a timely manner. The role requires a good understanding of primary schools, and the challenges teachers and senior management face. Applicants will have the ability to think strategically and be able to make quick and appropriate decisions to ensure the continuity of the project. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS. The successful applicant must live within easy commuting distance of the geographical area.
