?? You will be the face of the Food and Beverage operation acting as host and operator, building relationships with our owners and external clients, maximising all business opportunities.
?? Day to day you will manage a small team of up-to 6 people, you will work to maintain department facilities, standards of presentation and levels of service to a level that achieves and exceeds customer expectations.
?? Work to ensure our owners and customers receive outstanding, personalised service
?? Work with the General Manager to promote the restaurant and bistro using tools such as networking events, local business groups, social media etc.
?? Assist in the management of the leisure club and support its sales activity.
?? You will supervise the housekeeping team and monitor their performance by daily spot checks
?? You will ensure the team adhere to legislative requirements such as COSHH, Fire Safety, Food safety, Health & Safety, and Safeguarding of our owners
?? Maintain high standards of comfort, cleanliness, and hygiene throughout the village
?? Maintain the highest standards of dress appearance and hygiene at all times in line with Audley's uniform policy.
?? Supervise Food, Beverage and Restaurant operations, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service, well presented food, and served efficiently in a relaxed atmosphere.
?? Be equipped to deal with sudden employee shortages through absenteeism, being able to deputise in any job capacity.
?? Report and support the absences process in line with Company Attendance Procedures
?? Deal with complaints and negotiate with owners and customers in a warm and empathetic way, as necessary.
?? Maintain employee welfare and morale.
?? Ensure effective communication between departments.
?? Ensure that good use is made of colleagues on duty. To ensure that the department is adequately staffed at all times taking into consideration the volume of business.
?? Liaise duty rotas and weekly work schemes with the General Manager
?? Ensure that timesheets for all members of your department are completed on a daily basis with all breaks documented.
?? Be responsible for following the correct fire evacuation procedure. Be vigilant at all times with regard to security of the premises and the safeguarding of our owners
?? Monitor the requisition of Food & Beverage/Consumable Stocks; ensuring par stocks are maintained where required.
?? Promote the village to the guests and encourage your staff to do the same.
?? Take advantage of the chance to sell should an opening occur, knowing and selling village facilities. ?? Be sensitive to company expenditure and revenue generation (i.e. Wastages and Breakages).
?? Ensure Cashier points are cashed up regularly and in line with Company
?? Cash handling procedures, with allowances and management accounts processed daily.
?? Up hold the correct and legal use of any Liquor Licence.
Ensure a daily brief of Colleagues is carried out.
?? Regularly hold Department meetings.
?? Regularly attend Health & Safety and Fire Training and ensure team members are actively using the Audley On-Line Academy to further development and ensure statutory compliance
?? Undertake any other reasonable duties that the Village Manager or Senior Management team may require from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience:
?? Computer literate including Microsoft Office
?? Food and beverage management experience in a 4* or higher hospitality environment
?? Experience dealing with customers on a regular basis
?? Committed to delivering customer service excellence
?? Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
?? Self motivated and driven by standards and sales opportunities
?? Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and produce creative solutions Skills and Personal Attributes
?? Ability to influence and liaise with people at all levels
?? Strong negotiation and influencing skills would be a major benefit to the post holder
