About the Trainee Occupational Hygienist role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Occupational Hygienist to join an enthusiastic team delivering Occupational Hygiene services to a wide range of clients across the UK with the UK's number one testing, inspection and compliance company.

Client focused and quality driven, we are a leading provider of Occupational Hygiene services Now we need a Trainee Occupational Hygienist
You will:

- Carry out varied survey types including occupational air/exposure monitoring for a wide range of substances, occupational noise & vibration (HAV & WBV) assessments, environmental noise & vibration surveys, LEV inspection & testing, indoor air quality surveys, lighting surveys, COSHH risk assessments and radiation monitoring, advice & consultancy.
- Work for a wide range of SOCOTEC UK Ltd clients including large contracts with automotive, construction, aerospace, mineral extraction, manufacturing, food, infrastructure and rail sectors plus many more.
- Be based in Midlands or South Yorkshire office with added opportunity to work from home.
- Join a large team of fully and partially BOHS qualified hygienists with wide variety of experience plus have access to technical support
- Be provided with company car (or van if preferred) with fuel card
- Be provided with professional development, & further in-house & external training, individual monitoring and I.T. kit plus have access to a wide range of in-house monitoring equipment and technologies
- Have access to highly experienced in-house specialist chemistry laboratory resource & dedicated reporting admin support

About you:
We're looking for a professional, dynamic and motivated individual with ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Communicative, organised, flexible and committed, you must also have:

- A science related degree or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience (preferable)
- A full driving license is essential
- High customer service ethic
- Health & Safety focused
