We have an exciting opportunity available to join our integral Marketing team as a Senior Insight Analyst! In this role you will identify and deliver against the data and analysis needs of the bus and Coach Business, both on a reactive and proactive basis.

The successful candidate will be a clear strategic thinker, with a good track record of identifying opportunities and consulting with senior stakeholders to make recommendations. We are looking for an excellent communicator with presentation skills and the ability to establish long lasting rapport.

Key Accountabilities:

* Management and production of regular insight reporting packs
* Deepen customer understanding and help to create an omnichannel single customer view
* Development and maintenance of customer segmentation models
* Use analytical insight to enhance customer retention, acquisition and lifetime value for bus customers
* Develop and maintain predictive models that inform real-time decisioning and next best actions
* Conduct accurate attribution to optimise marketing investment and programmes
* Utilise the latest analytics methods and software to build accurate attribution models, using the
* results to optimise marketing efforts and investments
* Support the new product development pipeline by providing insightful data analytics, models and metrics
* Manage the team responsible for the delivery of data selections to enable direct communications with customers (email / SMS / Social etc.)
* Ensure personal data processing is complaint with GDPR, ensuring lawful condition for processing is documented and conducting data protection impact assessments as required
* Utilise brand tracking tools and data to monitor changes in consumer attitude of National Express and identify changing consumer trends
* Manage the continuing development of the customer segmentation programme, maintaining and enhancing multiple, objective specific, segmentations
* Support the marketing forecasting process, working closely with stakeholders within the commercial department to ensure accurate and timely financial schedules in line with business forecasting cycles
* Support ad-hoc analysis requirements or data requests from key business stakeholders

Qualifications and Requirements:

* Minimum 3+ Years in an analytical role
* Experience of Python, R, SAS, SQL or similar analytical tools
* Undergraduate Degree in a related subject
* Articulate with strong communication and influencing skills
* Experience of working with large data sets
* Analytical/statistical knowledge including advanced modelling techniques
* Experience working within marketing or demonstrable understanding of the different characteristics of marketing channels
* Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
