y established client based in Leamington Spa are currently looking for an Customer Service Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be working full time hours.

My client is offering a salary of £18,000 per annum, the working hours will 09:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday.

The role is to support and deliver excellent customer service to new and existing customers, meet or exceed monthly goals/targets where appropriate.

Key Duties:

• Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner

• Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions

• Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications

• Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns

• Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items

• Obtain accurate information relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery

• Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability

• Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales.

• Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction

• Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed

• Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaints

• Setup and maintain customer files

• Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction

• Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the team

• Follow company policies and procedures in accordance with Security and Quality management system

• Present a professional image at all times to customers

• Perform other duties as assigned.


• Confident telephone manner

• Good admin skills

• Commercial acumen

• Competent use of email, Word and Excel

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Customer focused attitude

• Ability to work under their own initiative

• Experience within the administrative/ customer service sector
