Our client is recruiting a Home Manager who will be committed, and go the extra mile to provide an excellent service to their students. You will manage all aspects within the home and support with all CQC requirements, ensuring the development of the service through active engagement with the College systems, Colleagues, staff and students.

The successful applicant will have or be working towards NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, and experience of managing a team in a care setting. You will also demonstrate an understanding and ability to deliver on CQC compliance, as well as an aptitude for managing incidents and/ or complaints.

Key duties are outlined within the job description. This post is a term time post requiring you to work 43 weeks per year.

Our client is a national residential College for the assessment, rehabilitation, vocational education and training of students with visual impairment and other disabilities. Its primary aim is to develop the skills of all students to the full, enabling them to live and work as independently as possible in society.

Students at the college are aged from 16-25. All students have a disabilities or learning difficulties, which may include a visual impairment. Their student population is recruited nationally and reflects the multi-cultural nature of their society

Applicants for this role will be subject to a enhanced DBS clearance.
