Large construction business requires a key member procurement team to work on broad range of projects. As Procurement Administrator is to provide a comprehensive range of administrative support to the procurement team, by organising, co-ordinating and assisting with their workload commitments.

Responsibilities to include

Providing support to the Procurement Team on a daily basis whilst managing internal and external customer relationships in support of the department.
Ensure requisition log is kept up to date and any requisitions
Collation of supplier creation forms to be passed to Head of Procurement for signing
Maintenance of the Supply Chain database of all suppliers
Attend meetings as requested and take minutes
Ensure minutes, documentation and reports are distributed in a timely manner and monitor progress / co-ordinate close out of actions
Participate in and sometimes lead ad hoc projects as requested by the senior buying team

The right candidate will ideally have experience of working within a construction business and will have some exposure to procurement systems and techniques. This will be coupled with willingness and enthusiasm to take on new challenges and develop own role.
