Sales Consultant - Electronic Security (CCTV, Intruder Detection, Access Control)

We are now seeking a proven Commercial Sales Consultant for our Birmingham Branch to develop security sales across a geographical territory covering Birmingham and the West Midlands.

You will possess knowledge of information technology networks and an understanding of the Fire & Security Industry, ideally with a strong bias toward Fire Detection & Sprinkler systems. This role will focus primarily on generating new business and sales through networking, following up leads and cold calling therefore the role would ideally be suited to candidates with a strong sales orientated background, however we will also consider candidates with an engineering background (fire systems orientated) who is looking to make the move into a sales environment.

You should be able to see a route to earning £50,000 +++

The role will entail developing both new and existing business both by telephone and field sales visits in order to maximise on revenue potential whilst continually delivering excellent customer service.

You will be targeted to meet or exceed install sales and margin revenue targets, recurring revenue sales targets and activity and quotation levels.

We are seeking applications from articulate, hardworking and talented new business developers that have a track record of exceeding B2B sales targets whilst also working in an organised manner with the ability to produce sales activity reports to deadlines and to effectively update the internal computerised systems

The successful candidate will preferably reside in or be located close to Telford, Redditch, Tamworth, Kidderminster, Solihull, Stafford, Shrewsbury, Stafford, Cannock, West Bromwich, Bromsgrove, Stourbridge, Staffordshire or any other surrounding town / village within the West Midlands and a commutable distance of our Tipton Branch.
