Job Salary: £30,000-£42,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Product Development Engineering is the key technical department for the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer. There are three parts to it: Attribute Quality and Process, Vehicle Integrity Team and Vehicle Engineering Management. Working here, you'll give our vehicles their unique characteristics. It's all part of creating vehicles that delight customers and set us apart from the competition.
As Launch Support Engineer you'll work as part of the Connected Car Integration team alongside the relevant programme teams. You'll ensure any new issues raised, either inside the vehicle programme Product Development lifecycle or as part of the sustainability of the off-board infrastructure, are captured and led successfully through to fruition.
You'll be accountable for the End of Line (EOL) validation of the Telematics system (off-board), and ensuring that the vehicle programme teams are aligned to project content and issues as they arise in build. Builds will include both prototype operations and manufacturing builds.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You'll have previous Automotive Manufacturing experience, ideally with experience of both prototype operations and manufacturing builds. In addition to this, you'll need previous experience supporting the end to end root cause analysis and investigations of customer.
Finally, exposure to Telematics will be beneficial.
