My Client, a large scale Housing Association in Coventry, seeks a Business Change Manager for a contract role for 2 years.

Essential qualifications and experience:

Prince 2 Practitioner
Public Sector background essential
APMP Qualification
Change Management Qualification e.g. Prosci ADKAR
MSP qualification
Highly educated and with a record of career development
Project / Programme management qualification or equivalent experience in delivering large complex business change projects / programmes
Knowledge and proven experience of developing programme and project management techniques and tools specifically in business change management
Proven experience in strategic planning within a technical environment
Proven experience of developing complex business requirements
Proven experience in risk management within projects / programmes
Proven experience in change management
Proven experience of benefits realisation
Proven experience of coaching and mentoring peers and senior managers to improve programme / project delivery and outcomes

The role involves the following:

Lead and influence the planning and implementation of programmes and projects ensuring alignment to business priorities and plans

Lead, coach and mentor key stakeholders and relevant teams in the disciplines of change management to enable effective business change and realisation of benefits

Provide input into decision making at a senior level through partnership working with Leadership Team and key stakeholders to define Programme and Project scope, goals and deliverables ensuring benefits can be realised and change management is at the heart of our plans

Assess the business change management impact of all Programmes and Projects to ensure plans will deliver the agreed outcomes and benefits

Matrix management of the Programme / Project Team to maximise quality and high performance outcomes

Deliver change in line with the Project Management Framework and process

Develop the Project Management function through coaching, mentoring and training of staff and consultation throughout the scoping and implementation of change

Develop the methodology around their Project Management, leading on new ways of working to facilitate more effective change management

Leading the planning and scheduling of programme/project timelines & development of detailed programme/project plans - ensuring these have a business change focus

Effectively assess and manage programme/project risk

Develop and control programme/project budgets, completing projects within budget

Track programme/project deliverables and the impact of business change

Provide direction and support to project team/s through effective communication

Supplier Management in programmes/projects in consultation with Procurement Team

Quality assurance for programmes/projects

Regularly monitoring, reporting & presentation of progress of the programme/project to all stakeholders

Implement and manage change control throughout the programme/project

Lead the Post Implementation Review & lessons learned for programmes/projects and engagement of relevant teams, staff and stakeholders

Please note this is a contract role and you will need to be available on a weeks notice if offered the position
