Head of Digital Services (DS)
My client, a prestigious public sector organisation, requires a Head of Digital Services (DS) on an initial 6 month FTC, to manage 77 members of staff across the company, ensuring the organisation is accountable to the Executive Board for ensuring the realisation of strategies and outcomes through the deployment and delivery of an appropriate and relevant Digital Services Strategy and operating regime.
The suitable candidate will be expected to have a deep expertise in ICT/DS Industry Best Practise, standards, frameworks and guidelines as well as experience of leading all ICT/DS arrangement in a large and complex organisation. This is a strategic role, and you will be expected to liaise with all directorates, managers and key stakeholders across the business to understand the needs of the allocated portfolio to ensure that they address all objectives, purposes and achievements. You will also be expected to lead on the design, monitoring and review of all DS policies processes and procedures as well as setting the overarching strategy for Digital Services.
In this role you will ensure that DS are provided and managed in a manner that assures the appropriate and relevant delivery of these services to meet the needs of the organisation, ensure that DS are customer centric in their design and delivery, ensure values are maximised through innovation and bet practise, as well as contributing to the Corporate Social Responsibility of the organisation.
