The nitty gritty? Our client are managing a group of charities who support hardest to help job seekers into work. You will be supporting each charity to ensure they receive monthly income from the ESF / Big Lottery who fund this £5.5 million contract. To do this, it will involve reviewing their monthly finance submissions / bank statements / receipts to ensure the funds they are requesting are compliant with the programme, and that they have not missed out on funding they are due. Furthermore, you will travel around the local area to visit charities to review the paperwork for each job seeker they support – to ensure they are again compliant with the ESF / Big lottery regs.

You need to be analytical for sure. But you must enjoy engaging with people / organisations, as you will be visiting up 6 charities a month to provide support, so stakeholder engagement is key.
