Cosma Casting UK is an operating unit of Magna International, one of the world’s premier global automotive suppliers. Magna’s pioneering technology and creativity allows our customers to ask for solutions that lie beyond what they previously thought was possible.

Cosma Casting UK has established a manufacturing facility in Telford in the UK. For this new venture, we are looking for an Executive Administrator. Cosma Casting UK will specialise in high pressure die-casting that designs and builds medium to large aluminium die-cast automotive components.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the HR Manager with a dotted line into the General Manager, the

Executive Administrator will be responsible for providing efficient administrative

support to the General Manager (GM) and Management Team (MT).

Role Responsibilities:

* Providing full administrative support to the GM and MT.
* Managing the GM and MT diaries, organise meetings and appointments
* Hold weekly meetings with GM and MT to ensure alignment of tasks, push through of projects and ensure deadlines are adhered to
* Generate and draft Company power-point presentations for Town Halls, Key Leadership Team meetings, Operations Meetings as well as taking meeting minutes
* Liaising and organising attendance to all Key Leadership meetings including assisting in booking venues, hotel rooms etc.
* Draft reports and any company correspondence on behalf of the GM and MT
* Complete, submit and track the GM and MT expenses
* Arrange and book travel requirements for all CCUK employees (Flights, Hotels, Car Hire etc.) using the company nominated travel provider
* Work with Magna Corporate to locally manage the nominated travel provider
* Manage the offices to ensure that areas are well maintained with maintenance issues flagged and resolved with the Business Administrator
* Assist in any personal requirements i.e. booking of appointments, reminders of policy renewals
* Work collaboratively with the Business Administrator providing reception cover for Lunch and Holidays, when required
* Setting up and maintaining effective filing systems
* Work with the Business Administrator on any ad-hoc projects
* Be an ambassador for the KLT and the Fair Enterprise Culture (FEC)
* Assist the Key Leadership Team where required
* Assist in any other ad-hoc projects required by the management

Qualifications and Experience:

Work Experience

* Previous experience within office administration and providing Administrative support
* Experience of working within the fast moving automotive manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential

* Excellent oral and written communication skills

* Fundamental computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Project, Power-point is essential)

Work environment:

* Must be willing to work extended or flexible hours occasionally as needed.
* This role will be mainly office based however there will be occasions where presence on the shop floor will be required. The shop floor environment consists of exposure to heat, cold, dust, hot objects, and loud noises within our manufacturing environment. Full Health and Safety training and PPE provided for all conditions
