Business Intelligence Developer- SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, ETL, Visual Studio Team System, Agile

Burton on Trent- Commutable from Derby, Tamworth, Lichfield, Cannock

£35,000-£40,000 (Salary dependant on experience)

Working for a UK leading healthcare company that has recently moved into new, state of the art offices. The successful Business Intelligence Developer will be responsible for supporting the current BI function whilst aiding the technical implementation of data to cloud strategy, allowing for real time process reporting in addition to the opportunity for patients to work with the business's operational processes. You will also need to pioneer the companies' data dictionary, clarifying and promoting the common language of the business.

Responsibilities-

Ensure that data is accessible, up to date, accurate and applicable

Partake in the BI Cloud strategy to allow for the development of patient interactive apps and feedback devices directly into operational processes

To aid decision making across the business, you must be a leader of using the companies' data dictionary so everyone within the business understands what the data is telling them

Minimise negative customer experience by providing clarity on areas of weakness/lack of control and proactively identify data sets/predictive analytics to improve performance

Essentials-

Microsoft SQL Server

T-SQL

SSIS including extensive ETL design and development experience

Visual Studio Team System (2005) other source control software acceptable

Microsoft office 2007

Develop and maintain objects within OLAP Data Warehouses

ETL

Metadata management / Data quality

Desirables-

SQL Server Analysis Services

SQL Server 2016

Database Cloud Services (Azure preferable)

Alteryx or other ETL tools

ASP .NET, XML, HTML, JavaScript

Agile methodologies

An end-user tool to enable interaction with Data Cubes and BI datasets (e.g. Microsoft Excel 2007+, Power BI, Qlikview, Qliksense, Tableau
