Direct Sales Team Leader

Package of up to £22,000 with an OTE of £27,000 and corporate benefits – based at our Telford, Shropshire Head Office.
We are recruiting a Direct Sales Team Leader to develop and provide coaching for a team of Inside sales people who support a number of our Small to Medium Business contracts.
You will engage and work closely with our Direct Sales Manager to help maintain spend and provide a fantastic service to our customers.
In this hands-on role, you will lead an Direct Sales Team to hit monthly, quarterly and yearly targets, manage email enquiries and support our SMB contracts. You will also manage activity of outbound calls to a defined but changeable customer base to maintain spend and you will provide additional support to the Direct Sales Manager where required.
As a Direct Sales Team Leader you will co-ordinate training and coaching for team members, therefore previous team leadership experiences required.
Flexibility and the ability to cope well under pressure are essential attributes for this role. You will need to display professional leadership and administration skills and have a strong desire to maximise customer satisfaction. You will be able to lead your team to ensure all work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
The ideal candidate will have had previous experience leading a team within a target/service orientated environment and will understand the sales process, direct sales/inside sales experience will be advantageous.
