Vedra are excited to be representing a rapidly growing medical devices company in their search for a Quality Manager to be based out of the offices in the surrounding area of Birmingham. My client have roughly 100 employees based out of the UK site and are due to expand over the course of the next 2 years which will create genuine opportunities for the Quality Manager to accelerate their career as they grow the team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for planning, organising, leading and controlling the Quality Management activities ensuring the company is compliant whilst evolving with the business needs. Key responsibilities include; People Managementincluding recruitment for the growing quality team, QMS compliance to ISO13485 and FDA 21 CFR standards, QMS Audit plan, QA support during the design and development process, Product Quality Planning and Supplier Audit.

To be considered for this role you will need to have significant people management experience and have worked heavily with Quality Management Systems within a medical devices environment. Sound knowledge of ISO13485, FDA 21 CFR and ISO14971 are essential and ideally you will have some knowledge of IEC60601 and IEC62304.
