Ideal candidate will be part of a busy team within a finance department and would need to work effectively and efficiently with the team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer care to suppliers and staff and resolving queries in a helpful manner.

Main duties
Process all new supplier requests within three days of receipt. Liaising with suppliers to eliminate any potential fraudulent activities satisfying that all agreed controls are followed.

Respond to all enquiries and provide a professional service to staff and suppliers.

Action all supplier amendments.

To process purchase order amendment requests.

To Process purchase order closure requests.

To support and assist the senior finance assistant in a continuous improvement initiative and compliance with regulations.

To assist in the maintenance of procedure manuals ensuring they are accurate and up to date.

To Provide daily statistics which clearly state the volume of items moving through the team.

The ideal candidate will have customer service experience,organisational skills, experience working with large databases, ability to manage own time and prioritise work. Ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines. Supports team decisions and is a good team player. be professional at all times
