Area Support Manager covering the Midlands
Fixed Term - Full Time - 39 hours per week.
Fixed term contract for a period of up to 6 months to cover maternity leave.
The successful applicant will:
Provide advice and support to Managers and senior staff in a Home to assist them to achieve the highest standards of care and quality.
Act as a temporary/relief Home Manager in the absence of the Manager, or if required work alongside a Home Manager or Deputy Manager to support their performance and development.
Ensure a consistent approach to MHA policies and procedures in each placement, advise the line manager if correct procedures are not being followed and take appropriate action to rectify or improve standards and compliance.
Undertake operational and Quality project work, either in relation to a specific Homeor Homes within the area e.g. a management review, an audit or investigation, team building, mentoring or training
Being highly organised with excellent time management and ambition to develop the successful person will have a fantastic opportunity to join a wonderful team.
The successful candidate will have a professional qualification in a Care or health field. (e.g. DipSW, Nursing, OT etc)
NVQ Level 4 in Management or equivalent is desirable
