Internal Sales Executive - Permanent - Staffordshire

Up to GBP24k+ BONUS potential 23 days holiday + 8 days Bank Hols+ GBP100 attendance allowance paid every 3 months + Pension + FREE CAR PARKING

Monday to Thursday 08.30am-1700pm

Friday 08.30am -1400pm

My Client are an established and successful company, providing Vehicle parts across the UK and Europe.

Due to significant growth they are looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to provide support to the commercial sales team.

Supporting the commercial team, you will be responsible providing internal commercial and administrative support. Managing existing customer accounts and liaising with customers for a consistent income of sales orders. You will also provide support to the Business Development Manager by following up on leads for new customers and creating new accounts to support the development of new business.

This role includes both Relationship and Account management skills as well as administrative support to the commercial team. Candidates will need to have good communication skills, be confident in building relationships and enjoy working as part of a commercial team.

Responsibilities:

  • Keeping in regular contact with existing customers to ensure a regular income of sales orders by building strong business relationships.

  • Dealing with incoming enquiries from existing customer base and presenting solutions accordingly to make a sale.

  • Support the Business Development Manager with following up on leads for new customers.

  • Respond to incoming email & phone enquiries.

  • Administering incoming orders and ensure that orders are processed in line with customer's delivery requirements.

  • Ensuring the production of Sales Invoices

  • Raise & collaborate with other departments with regards to raising non-conformance reports.

  • Allocation of stock to outstanding orders & ensuring orders are put into production.

  • Resolving any customer queries.

  • Maintain customer records & ensuring all information is up to date.

  • Maintaining customer pricelists with customer references for cross referencing.

  • To communicate with different departments in the business as required.

  • Effective use of WSL systems and application of procedures.

  • Administration support for the Business Development Manager.

  • Analysing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

  • Reporting of key performance indicators against sales targets.

  • To attend exhibitions and conferences as required.

Skills & Experience required

  • Previous experience in a Sales / Account Management role within the Tyre/Wheel industry

  • Good communication skills

  • Good telephone manner

  • Well organised and able to manage own workload effectively

  • Self -Motivated and results driven
