The Community Video Manager plays a leading role in keeping thepassionate and active Sea of Thieves community entertained, informed andinspired through a range of high-quality video content that includestrailers, live streams, developer diaries and more. Part producer, part content strategist and part performer, this is avaried and exciting role that's essential in delivering the quality,timely and engaging video content our fans have come to expect. Excellent communication skills, including being a relaxed and natural performer in front of the camera Strong understanding of gaming video content, the channels its consumed on and the motivations of gamers who watch it Good understanding of key video platforms including YouTube, Mixer and Twitch Strong technical production skills, able to edit, capture and produce video content as required Excellent project management skills, able to deliver high-quality video content to deadline Experience of working in a highly dynamic gaming business, able to problem solve and be flexible in the face of changing circumstances Desirable characteristics Strong passion for games and gaming culture Seeks opportunities to try ideas that are bold and different Well-organised, effective at working against a plan to deadline Helpful, can-do, positive Responsibilities Own and manage the video content roadmap, ensuring it reflects and supports wider product and marketing objectives Act as the key point of contact for Rare's community video output, building strong relationships with video production, community and marketing teams Be a constant source of creativity and ideas for how Rare can connect with its fans via video content, addressing key community needs and ensuring content always feels fresh Own and manage key video channels including YouTube, Mixer and Twitch ensuring content is well presented and optimised for discovery Contribute to the development of all trailers and key marketing assets, ensuring a consistency of message and execution across all video content Act as a brand representative who's happy being front of camera and appearing in both live and recorded community video content Help the video production team with additional editing, thumbnail creation and video capture as required - provided by Dice PROJECT MANAGEMENT
