My client is a forward thinking, innovative organisation who are currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Co-ordinator to join their fast paced payroll function in an interim capacity. The role will take responsibility for a specific region through managing the complete payroll process. The role will support internal employees through offering sound advice around payments/deductions made whilst meeting weekly and monthly payroll deadlines.

Overview of the role:
The successful candidate will have significant responsibility within a team of experienced payroll professionals to control and wholly manage payroll queries and resolutions.

You will respond to queries from colleagues across various departments within the business, therefore strong communication skills are required to be really successful in this role. You will continuously work to high volumes and tight deadlines, ensuring business controls and processes are in place and followed at all times.

Experience:
Ideally you will have experience in a Retail environment where you have had responsibility for payroll across a retail branch network. You will be managing a high volume workload so the ability to prioritise and set colleague expectations will be really important. You will also need to work effectively and autonomously whilst supporting your colleagues with team initiatives and goals.

My client is based in Birmingham City Centre and they are easily accessible by public transport
