Reports to Marketing Manager

Hours Permanent position, 0730-1630 Monday-Thursday, 0730-1530 Friday

Holiday 28 days including public holidays

Salary £25,000 - £28,000 negotiable depending upon experience


Our client is a manufacturer of factory dividing solutions – temporary and permanent partitions, screens, curtains and doors – to large industrial premises throughout the UK. They are based in Stafford, Staffordshire.

Position overview

To provide support to the Marketing Manager and department in delivering existing strategies, whilst having the experience and knowledge to develop email marketing; including triggered, automated and nurturing campaigns.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified or experienced within a marketing role, ideally 12 months
  • Worked with online email tools and website CMS

  • Can show an understanding of marketing concepts and theories and how these are applied in a B2B environment
  • Good understanding of database and email data segmentation
  • Experience with email tools (preferably Dotmailer, but not essential)
  • Ability to work independently, whilst contributing as part of a wider team
  • A desire to show initiative and bring ideas to the table
  • Motivated and methodical in approach to project planning and tasks
  • Organised and an eye for detail
  • Compiling and completing various reports
  • Ability to highlight process improvement
  • Formulate methods to obtain, compile and present marketing research
  • Logical and detailed thinker
  • Good administrative and organisational skills

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Implement marketing, advertisement and digital campaigns as directed by the management team.
  • Building email campaigns and performing day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, creating programs and triggered and dynamic content
  • Working alongside internal stakeholders and software providers integrate the main CRM system and email system to deliver an improved customer experience
  • Preparing and monitoring multiple marketing campaigns, plans, objectives and schedules; working alongside the Marketing Manager and Creative Manager
  • Plan exhibitions, assembling, and co-ordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; co-ordinating additional and supporting marketing activities
  • Preparing various marketing reports and monitoring campaign budgets against plan
  • Monitoring of marketing material stock levels and co-ordinating requirements with the Creative Manager
  • Stay up to date and recommend email marketing best practices
  • Work with third party suppliers as required; including digital agency and print house
