International consultancy with high profile projects that cross multiple sectors are looking for an experienced Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing team in Birmingham. With already established teams across the UK, you will be tasked with helping deliver projects from inception to completion on a range of schemes including residential, commercial, power, nuclear, water, MOD and transportation.

This is a very good opportunity for a Geo-Environmental Engineer / Geotechnical Engineer to sit under a principal and help them grow a team in the West Midlands. You will have the chance to gain exposure within both Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical on projects within the UK and internationally.

Your responsibilities will primarily surround planning/implementation of Phase 1 & Phase 2 investigations, producing technical reports, Geo-Environmental monitoring, undertaking Geotechnical/remediation verification testing and interpretative reporting whilst attending meetings and communicating with clients and project team members to establish their needs, inform on proposals etc.

• Degree qualified in Geoscience, hydrogeology, environmental science, geology, civil engineering.
• 2 to 10 years of experience within a UK Geo-Environmental and/or Geotechnical consultancy.
• Member of a professional body working towards chartership.
• Experience of planning, managing, supervising and interpreting ground investigation data, in relation to contamination and Geotechnical aspects.
