Assistant Shop Manager - Temporary
As Assistant Shop Manager you will be supporting the Shop Manager to drive sales and motivate a team of volunteers in order to maximise income. Working closely together you will need to bring your creativity and flair to encourage donations and maintain high standards of shop presentation.
In the Shop Manager’s absence you’ll be responsible for running the shop, so you must have the confidence and skills to lead the team of volunteers and have experience of dealing with customers.
We exist to make this country a better place for disabled people and their families. We do this by running a range of services, raising awareness of the issues that disabled people face and influencing change across society. We provide support, advice and information for more than a quarter of a million disabled people and family members every year. Our growing retail network is at the centre of what we do, raising vital money to fund our work.
About working in our shops
We’re open every day, so you must be prepared to work Saturdays, Sundays and Bank holidays as needed.
