Site Manager - Civil Sub Contractor - Roads & Sewers Scheme - Upto £230 per day
About the Client
A civil engineering and groundwork's sub contractor with a Head Office in Lancashire who specialise in delivering a range of civil engineering services to clients across the UK. These include but aren't limited to drainage, retaining walls, foundations, ductwork, surfacing, roads and sewers. They have experienced steady growth over the past 3yrs and have a pipeline of projects commencing between now and July which will ensure they have another successful year.
About the Role
You will join as a Site Manager and take the lead as Number 1 on site delivering a roads & sewers scheme to a new and prestigious client. You will be responsible for ensuring that Health & Safety is adhered to at all times by direct employees, contractors and sub contractors. You will work alongside a Site Engineer who will ensure that all setting out is accurate, and you will report in to a Contracts Manager who will visit the site occasionally. You will be responsible for ordering all plant and materials and ensure that works run to programme.
What you Need to Succeed
You must be able to demonstrate a history of delivering similar schemes from inception to hand over. You will have a minimum of 5yrs experience working as a Site Manager in the civil engineering sector, and hold SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Certificates. This is an initial 6 month role, but good performance will ensure that you are kept on for following schemes.
