Salary: £29,227 to £31,436 per annum
Fixed Term: 1 year (maternity cover)
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Programme Officer to support their work on Community Flood Resilience Measurement, impact monitoring and reporting across a multi-country programme.
You will be responsible for working with colleagues in their Bangladesh, Nepal and Peru offices to build consistent capacity and practice in monitoring and reporting on the outcomes of our client’s flood resilience projects. You will need to maintain an overview across their flood resilience measurement work and capture learning from it. This will require working with country teams to develop, monitor and report on gendered outcome indicators. In addition, the role provides a range of project accountability and management functions in support of the Programme Manager.
You will ideally have experience in data collection and research and the ability to work well across diverse teams, geographies and cultures. You will be required to present learning and analysis both internally across the company and externally to their Alliance partners and practitioner networks as required.
Candidates should hold at least a bachelors level degree qualification in an appropriate discipline and have work experience in international development, ideally including experience working in developing countries either as a volunteer or as part of their studies for around 6 months.
