KNOW THE ROLE

As the Deputy General Manager Sales for Menswear, Women's, Accessories and Beauty you will be responsible for all aspects of the range of departments (own bought and concession): sales, profit, costs, people, operation and product, by leading their Sales Manager team to deliver an extraordinary customer experience and high retail standards. Underpinning this is the ability to role model and promote the company values, to lead the team to live them and exceed individual and departmental indicators. This role reports directly into the General Manager with four Sales Managers reporting into them.

You will do much more than just meet expectations. Instead, youll provide a bespoke service to customers from all over the world, while you take enormous pride in maintaining our high standards, driving sales and hitting targets. Our customers expect impeccable service delivered by people with a genuine passion for a range of brands and a thorough knowledge of products, fashion or non-fashion.

KNOW WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

With a projection of £100m turnover, youll need a strong leadership background gained in a high volume, fast paced environment. A background that will not only prove you know how to boost sales, control costs and stock, and increase profits, but that youve managed managers and are able to work with multiple concession brands at once. Commercially astute, youll have a creative, can-do attitude, plenty of ideas and a proactive approach to problem solving especially when it comes to managing development projects. A key focus will be working with the buyers to shape the future brand strategy. Using your excellent communication skills youll be curious in building strong relationships with teams across the business creating a smooth running operation that reinforces our reputation as a one of a kind retail experience.

Youll have genuine passion for retail inside and out with a natural curiosity to discover and explore more about your area of expertise to share with others. Bringing your personality to the service experience you will always look to genuinely connect with your customers and the wider team, while thinking creatively to bring their extraordinary experience to life.
