With your experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing background, coupled with your expertise of leading an organisation to meet their business objectives, you’ll join our Plant Quality department as a Quality Assurance Manager at the brand new state-of-the-art Engine Manufacturing Centre (EMC).
*Which is the home of the next generation of advanced Engines to power the future vehicles of the company’s Brand.
*As the Quality Assurance Manager you’ll be the role model for our Powertrain values and be responsible for creation and development of an environment, with a tenacious approach to ensuring that the manufacturing facility and our business partners are compliant to our procedures and manufacturing processes to IATF.
*The role provides a reference for all of the EMC departments to deliver business excellence by means of a continuous improvement mind set and rigorous attention to detail & planning, delivering positive change. Which will enable us to transform the way which engines are manufactured and to be recognised as the global benchmark for excellence.
*You’ll manage the Quality Department dealing with emerging issues where appropriate, along with offering support and guidance to the other functions within the EMC and ensure the teams are supported.
*You’ll be the main point of contact for any escalation issues to ensure all receive maximum exposure and are dealt with effectively to assist, improve and sustain product quality.
*You’ll be accountable for the Quality Management Systems, New Product Introduction for New Model Launch activities, Government Regulation Compliance and Compliance of Production and Engine returns investigation.
*To achieve this, you’ll establish a specific course of action, and appropriately manage time, tasks, budgets and resources to ensure delivery of the Plant Quality objectives, and all activities meet expectations in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People and Environment
*You’ll also drive continuous improvement by leading and coaching the use of lean tools and principles to drive out waste and improve uptime and productivity to ensure a first-class service to our customer base


*You’ll have extensive experience of implementing Quality Management Systems within a Manufacturing or Engineering background, ideally Automotive.
*You must be an IATF Lead Auditor with expert IATF/TS16949 knowledge and implementation of Quality Management Systems with complex problem-solving skills such as 8D, Six Sigma and Practical Problem Solving, coupled
*proven track record in People Management and the ability of coordinating large groups of people through complex processes in a fast paced and demanding environment, and the ability to implement change effectively and ensure efficient running of the operation with the ability to use planning and timing tools to deliver on-going cross functional projects.
*You’ll be proficient with use of PC Systems & Packages and be able to interpret and collate statistical data and create reports.
*You’ll be a strong communicator, both written & verbally and have the confidence to present your information in front of groups of people, including Senior Management.
*You’ll ideally be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and have ability to work independently and in a team, you’ll be results driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance with the ability to deliver in a highly demanding environment.
*Have the capability to combine a short term, pragmatic focus with medium term planning, whilst being resilient and enthusiastic to new ideas and the enthusiasm to deliver a world class product.

-Payment is due only after a placed permanent employee passes the probation and rebate period
