we are recruiting for a temporary receptionist to work within a Higher Education organisation.

The Role

The Reception Team provides administrative front line service to all visitors and provides support to all staff.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will entail a variety of duties, not limited to but including the following:-

Providing a high quality of service to staff and visitors, exceeding their expectations and delivering an appropriate outcome to all queries
Welcoming visitors with a high standard of customer service, signing in visitors
Working closely with other departments and communicating efficiently
Showing flexibility and willingness to support colleagues and take on additional duties if required.
Dealing with Telephone and Email enquiries in a timely manner.
Essential Skills & Competencies
Previous reception/telephonist/customer service experience is essential
Strong customer focus
IT skills - knowledge of Microsoft packages
Good attention to detail
Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
Ability to plan ahead and anticipate problems
