Sales Account Manager with German Language Skills

UK Dies Group is a leading manufacturer of hot & cold forging precision tooling located in the centre of Birmingham, around half a mile from Grand Central and the Bullring. We are a long-established privately-owned company and we are looking for a key member in our sales and office teams to support our continued growth. We export around 75% of our products and our prospects for the coming years both with our UK and overseas customers are excellent.

The Sales Account Manager is the first point of contact for their own customer portfolio which is mainly located in the UK. They also deal with clients in France and Spain and provide essential cover for the German customer portfolio.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service to existing client base
- Building good customer relationships to increase spend
- Sending Open Order Books and other information about production schedules
- Monitoring emails, sending quotations and carrying out other administrative tasks
- Setting up and maintaining customer specific contracts, e.g. stock holding
- Working closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets
- Contacting potential customers regarding new business opportunities
- Liaising with other departments and providing administrative support to management
- Customer focus and commercial awareness

Person Requirements:
- Highly organised with a professional and dedicated approach
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Customer focus and commercial awareness
- Fluency in German, both written and spoken
- French and Spanish language skills would be an advantage
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Strong IT and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team

Salary: TBC
Holiday: 29 Days
Hours: 7.30am – 16.30pm Mon-Thurs / 07:30am – 13:30pm Fri
