Salary: Circa £45,000 plus Car Allowance

About the role:

They’re looking for experienced Housing Development Project Managers who will take the lead in delivering a range of projects within their housing association development programme.

They have a range of schemes currently under development which include general needs rent, affordable and outright sales, regeneration, supported housing and extra care.

About you:

Someone who is experienced in housing / project managing development schemes from inception through to completion, capable of using your initiative within their regulatory framework. You’ll complete this by building effective relationships using a Project Team approach which includes other internal colleagues, consultants and developers to ensure timely delivery.

In technical terms you’ll be able to manage a portfolio of schemes with different time pressures but still achieve individual project milestones. You’ll also be able to run and interpret financial appraisals, have a thorough grasp of legal issues around land purchase and a working knowledge of the planning system.

As an effective negotiator you’ll secure great outcomes in a commercial environment whilst identifying key risks associated with individual schemes and identify how best to mitigate these. The ability to effectively summarize data and write concise reports will play a large part in your day to day working.

You may have experience of the following: Development Manager, Property Manager, Project Manager, Project Management, Housing Association, Project Delivery, Buildings, Maintenance, etc.
