Videographer required for the UK’s most exciting automotive tool supplier and manufacturer. We are looking for a creative and qualified videographer who has experience of producing broadcast-quality product videos to showcase the company’s latest tools and equipment. You will work closely with the marketing team to further develop and enhance the company's portfolio of product, corporate and motorsport sponsorship videos. These videos are published to the Tool Connection YouTube channel as well as distributed to the company’s sales force and customers world-wide.

You will also be responsible for promotion and distribution of the videos, producing QR codes, etc, and ensuring they are promoted in all company publications, packaging, websites, leaflets, and other marketing and advertising material.

You will assist with the Tool Connection social media strategy as this is an area that we are currently focussing on; you will be proactive with ideas and methods of social media marketing and targeting, to further increase brand awareness and product sales across all areas of social media.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed you may be required to perform other duties assigned by your manager as reasonably required.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrate proven experience of filming and editing broadcast-quality video and 3D CAD modelling and animation.
  • Must be fully experienced and proficient in video editing using the Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, etc.
  • Recording and editing voice over.
  • Must have a professional outlook and be innovative and full of ideas — must not be afraid to think outside the box.
  • Main Duties:

  • You will need to have demonstrable and proven experience of filming and editing broadcast-quality product videos.
  • Be fully experienced and conversant with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of video production software.
  • Experience in 3D CAD modelling and animation is required to produce titles, infographics and animated instructional sequences.
  • Record and edit video projects, including voiceover recording and processing; capturing/importing media; organizing raw media and editing footage and sound files.
  • Creating and inserting static and motion graphics, 3D animations, titling, and adding music, voiceover and sfx. Selecting program format for final output across various areas and devices.
  • Enhance and develop the corporate style of video for The Tool Connection and its associated tool brands.
  • Manage video library: manage media and archive project media; distribute and maintain all footage to various platforms, apps, screens and individuals. Produce QR codes for product packaging.
  • To ensure all Company equipment is maintained and kept safe at all times — the film unit is well equipped with a Panasonic AF101 camera, specialist sound recording equipment, green-screen and mobile lighting units.
  • Any other duties, not specified above, as outlined by your Line Manager
  • Have an awareness and working knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation, policies and practices. Complete risk assessments if filming in areas where vehicles or equipment are moving or visibility is restricted by spectators, etc.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and problem solve.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Flexible and positive approach to work.
  • Exceptional team working skills are essential.
  • Additional Duties:

    Filming at weekends related to various company social events and the Laser Tools Racing team: there is also an opportunity to get involved with our motorsport team Laser Tools Racing, producing video reports and driver interviews at race meetings in both the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and the TCR-UK series. Time off in lieu or payment for this will be arranged. Transportation and timescales will be arranged and two weeks' prior notice will be in place.
