This project is based in our Build division, which is the largest business stream in the company, delivering new build and construction projects of up to £30 million to both the public and private sectors nationwide.
Located in Birmingham City Centre.
£19 million in value.
The project comprises of the refurbishment of a Grade 2 listed building into new build private residential apartments.
Ideally the Site Manager will reside in the West Midlands, however they must be flexible with travelling and working away as local work cannot always be guaranteed.
The Site Manager will take responsibility for the management of a total site from inception to completion.
This would include completing all daily and weekly returns, coordination of all subcontractors, staff, management of health and safety and compliance with environmental standards, etc.
Overall the successful candidate will be responsible for controlling on-site activities under the direction of a Project Manager.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
It is essential that the Site Manager has a suitable site management qualification, a valid SMSTS qualification, First Aid certificate and CSCS card.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
A relevant degree and membership of appropriate professional association would be highly desirable.
