Job Title: Procurement Manager

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £35k - £40k

Department : Procurement

Premier Group is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager for one of our Prestigious clients based in the West Midlands, to lead an energetic purchasing team.

The Successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day decision making of Purchasing Goods/ Services required in the UK and Internationally.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead and manage the tender process
  • Ensure the tender process adheres to all regulations
  • Provide support to and supervise other members of staff
  • Source appropriate suppliers
  • Target suppliers existing or new to ensure the quality standards are met whilst attaining lower costs
  • Manage responsibilities of all Contractual agreements
  • Provide all services to project teams in a timely and cost-effective manner

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of working within the Procurement environment for at least 5 years
  • Educated to Degree Level
  • Recognised Procurement qualification MCIPS or equivalent
  • Ability to hit targets and work under a fast paced environment
