This is an exciting time for Lear as the business has seen significant growth over the last few years and more recently completed some valuable acquisitions to greater support expansion. Due to the increase in business we are looking to complement our teams based across the country. We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Coordinator to support the business for our assembly plants and Technical Centre across the UK. The Payroll Coordinator will be based at our world class facility in Coventry. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring Payroll runs smoothly and accurately.
As a Payroll Coordinator your main responsibilities will include:
• Ensure the payroll for employees at each of the locations in the UK are run in an accurate and timely manner (i.e. according to the payroll schedules).
• Undertake monthly payroll checks and validation to ensure the accuracy of the monthly payroll.
• Ensure that all submitted payments and deductions as submitted on a monthly basis are accurately submitted to the payroll including those relating to
• Overtimes
• Sickness absence
• Regular and irregular deductions
• Regular and irregular payments
• Ensuring that changes to tax codes and other personal details are updated and amended in a timely manner on the payroll system
• That all relevant payroll reports compiled and sent to Finance teams
• Ensure that all BACS payments made to employees and HMRC on time.
• Assist in the preparation of Year end reporting
• Assist in the preparation of P11Ds on an annual basis
• Support the relevant HR teams / Financial Controllers with payroll data checking on a monthly basis.
• Respond to payroll queries submitted through the relevant channels, where necessary explaining such matters to the relevant person.
• Ensure Monthly deadlines for collation / input & payment are met.
• Ensure Subsequent payments for tax, NI, pension and other statutory deductions are made by due date.
• Ensure support in respect of Internal SOX or FOA responsibilities and queries are carried out and resolved in a timely manner
