At BAM FM customer service is at the heart of what we do.

The Facilities Co-ordinator will support the Facilities Manager and Deputy Facilities Manager to ensure that the services provided to the Authority are in accordance with the Service Agreement. Working closely with the FM Management Team, the post holder is responsible for the management, co-ordination and implementation of predominantly soft services, in particular cleaning.

Location: Bromsgrove Schools.

About the role

• Client liaison - interface with the Authority will be achieved through formal and informal communications, including regular meetings and audits.

• Play a role in maintaining and improving the projects involvement in BAM FM Management Systems (Quality Management, Environmental, Health and Safety)

• Cleaning - Responsibility for all aspects of cleaning including overseeing staff, sickness and absence reviews, timesheets, stock management, purchase orders, training and audits.

• Cleaning Forum - Active member of the BAM Cleaning Forum including attendance at meetings and BICS training (Midlands)

• Health and Safety - compliance with legislative requirements.

• Dealing with queries via email/phone

• Develop and maintain relationships with all the customer departments.

• Maintain accurate site contract administration files.

• Assisting with general project administration/reporting

• Be conversant with all statutory compliance processes and procedures.

• Ensure that all BAM FM policies, procedures and standards are in place and adhered too.

• Other duties as and when required.

Who are we looking for?

• A proven track record of managing others

• Previous experience in a FM environment

• Client relationships skills - experience of public sector culture

• Knowledge of COSHH regulations.

• Strong interpersonal, customer relationship and organisational skills

• IT Literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages.

• Financial knowledge to assist on P&Ls and Cost planning.

• Full UK Driving Licence

Qualifications: Desirable

• Bics accreditation

• IOSH Managing Safety.
