We are looking for a conscientious, and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team within our growing business.

We are offering a competitive salary, alongside contributory pension, death-in-service provision and other benefits

Reporting to the Finance Director, Duties would include:

Purchase Ledger:

* To ensure all Invoices are entered promptly and correctly
* Liaison between staff and suppliers to ensure queries are dealt with promptly
* Reconciliation of supplier statements
* Ensure timely approval of invoices by department heads
* Allocation of payments made to supplier accounts

Petty Cash

* Making and recording payments
* Reconciliation between accounting system and petty cash book

Accounts | Finance | Assistant | Purchase Ledger | MS Excel | Accounts Assistant

Essential Criteria:

* Computer literate with good knowledge of MS Excel
* Ability to work in a busy team environment
* Strong Written and oral communication skills
* Excellent Organisation skills to effectively manage workload and ensure deadlines are met
* Flexible and proactive attitude

Desirable Criteria:

* Previous experience in a Finance department
