Job Title: Internal Sales Assistant

Location: Jewellery Quarter

Working Hours: For this role would be 37.75 hours (Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm and Friday 8.30 am to 4.00pm) with 45 minutes lunch break.

Salary: Circa £19K, with potential for increase within twelve months depending upon performance

Holidays: Are 34 per year including Bank Holidays (20 basic days, 8 Bank Holidays and 6 further shutdown days)

Benefits: Employees become eligible for the staff bonus scheme after completing 12 months continuous service. The benefits vary, based on company performance over a defined period and then are distributed according to the individual’s attendance record

Overview

A Sales and Administration role, which will involve extensive liaison with external customers, the sales team, design, purchasing and production departments, with the working week spent on site at my Clients Jewellery/Precious Metals Facility

It is essential that the Candidate:

* Is a good listener, a clear and appropriately concise communicator by phone and in writing
* Is fully proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
* Has excellent English and Maths skills
* Is tidy and disciplined with strong organisational and time management skills.
* Has the ability to emphasise product features based on the individual customer’s needs, up-selling and cross-selling as appropriate.
* Has excellent commercial acumen.
* Enjoys facilitating the needs of others
* Is reliable, and capable of working under their own initiative in a fast paced sales environment.
* Previous sales & office experience
