Novartis is currently recruiting for a Key Account Manager to join our Neuroscience Franchise to work on a brand new product launch!
This is a field-based role covering Warwickshire, East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
** Key Account Manager / Sales / Pharmaceutical / Secondary Care / NHS / Neurology **
The purpose of the Key Account Manager role is to build and execute business plans to meet sales goals for assigned territory and to develop effective business relationships with customers.
•Develops understanding of customer organizations and influence customer decisions
•Develops business/clinical networks supporting Medical advocacy and key opinion leader plans
•Adapts approach and communication style during sales calls responding appropriately to customer needs
•Ensures that Novartis products and services are understood and available to more patients and customers.
•Deploys and uses Marketing and Sales promotional materials and programs
•Develops deep specialist product and disease state knowledge in the specific therapeutic area
•Allocates resources effectively for sampling, programs and events
•Integrates customer-facing activities across cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Market Access)

Minimum requirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
-Pharmaceutical sales experience in secondary care
-Extensive knowledge of NHS – structure, strategy and funding
-Experience of selling a high cost drug
-Product Launch Experience
