About us

SD International Trading Ltd has been trading since 1956. The company has developed into a group of ecommerce businesses based in the West Midlands selling products primarily for the home and garden to consumers through it’s own eCommerse websites and other sales channels.

About the role

The business is now looking to vastly increase the exposure of it’s Marketplaces outside the websites. In this is brand new role you will be dedicated to the development and growth of all online sales channels excluding the website. This would include Amazon, Ebay and all other channels we decide to implement.

As a Marketplace executive you’ll be responsible for all elements of sales for the marketplaces. For this you will be Responsible for driving traffic and increasing sales on all our products ranges to maximize turnover and profitability.


  • Monitor Marketplaces to optimize margin and sales to a specified target
  • Review and optimize existing category and product pages to get greater visibility in search results and improve product ranking and conversion
  • Manage listing of new products and ensuring all product information is optimised (titles, descriptions, keywords, bullet points etc)
  • Identify and feedback any issues with images that may need retouching/reshooting
  • Keep up to date with market trends, marketplace rules and best practices and apply this to the selected channels
  • Actively look for popular and upcoming marketplaces that we can take advantage of
  • Actively monitor, influence and feedback on our Seller-Status to help drive sales
  • Analyse competitor’s listings and pricing
  • Monitor and adjust price changes on products for profit & sales against competition
  • Co-ordinating relevant departments when launching new products
  • Providing product ideas and implementing product promotions
  • A very limited involvement in customer services
  • Other tasks related to online marketplaces as assigned

The candidate must:

  • Have very good knowledge and experience using Ebay & Amazon and would be beneficial having experience with other channels such as (shpock, etsy, not on the high street, gumtree, etc etc)
  • Have good analytical skills to be able to analyse sales, margins and performance metrics using selected sales channels
  • Have basic knowledge of SEO
  • Have strong IT and literacy skills, including Microsoft excel skills
  • Be a team player but also has initiative to work individually
  • Be self-motivated and highly driven


Start Date: Immediate

Holidays: 33 days including bank holidays

Hours: Full Time, 8:30-5pm Monday-Friday

Location: Cradley heath, West midlands

Salary: The basic salary will be 22K, however the role will be heavily commission based which will give the candidate the potential of earning in excess of 28K uncapped
