35K – 45K BASIC, OTE 80K UNCAPPED, PLUS, CAR AND BENEFITS

TO BE BASED MIDLANDS OR THE SOUTH Our client is a very successful, 30 year old technical / engineering company who are now entering a phase of huge growth across the company; including their core products plus the addition of two new award-winning products.
They are now looking for someone to build their new Dangerous Goods / Hazardous transport division and build the revenue and the team across this sector. They know the sector has enormous potential for further growth and they are looking for an individual who is wanting a fresh challenge and that next step up, who is happy to be hands on and client facing – that ideally has come from a corporate background but who can also grow a team, and lead from the front. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person.

Key Responsibilities
Identifying and growing key business within the high risk / hazardous goods industry – chemicals, radioactive, petrochemicals, explosives, gases, flammable liquids, corrosives
• Working on proposals, bids and tenders
• Negotiating with key blue-chip clients on price and service levels
• Building a team and divisional structure – recruitment, training and development of staff
• Implementation and delivery of KPI’s
• Divisional budgetary ownership
• Attending key trade events, demonstrations and roadshows
• Reporting to the Directors on divisional performance
• Attending and participating in sales strategy meetings
• Working closely with Technical, Service and Dispatch

Key Skills and Experience

A proven track record of senior level new business development, sales management and growing existing accounts

• Able to build relationships and present to all levels of client
•A background within the Dangerous Goods / Hazardous goods industry or related is essential
Ambitious, self-motivated and driven personality
• Possess the ability and desire to grow and lead a team
• An excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
