This is an exciting new role to support the development and delivery of marketing and recruitment activities with Coventry University's Academic Partners to achieve further growth and increase their Global presence.

As International Marketing Co-ordinator you will work with key Senior Stakeholders within the department to provide integral marketing expertise in line with planned marketing activity for the partner institutions and their recruitment objectives, ensuring delivery through the appropriate channels.

This role will provide a high standard of support for all aspects of the departments marketing and recruitment activity, ensuring activity is focused on driving the Corporate Plan recruitment targets.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Taking strategic direction from the Head of the department, you will support the development, delivery and evaluation of integrated marketing/campaign plans for supporting our academic partners to achieve recruitment targets.

• Work closely with key stakeholders within the partner institution to coordinate and support such marketing activity required. Developing creative and cost effective activities to raise the profile of the University and encourage students to apply to study Coventry University degrees at partner institutions.

• With support, create, manage and report delivery of activities within the partner marketing/campaign plans including: website updates within the CMS, social media content creation and account/profile management across multiple profiles, proof reading of partner-generated collateral, developing presentations for recruitment purposes, copy-writing, email building within email platform, obtaining quotes, briefing designers/agencies, reviewing and proofing copy and creative.

• Plan, implement and evaluate digital advertising campaigns by working closely with the Digital Marketing Team.

• Provide support and expertise to develop and execute an SEO plan to drive traffic, engagement and new student recruitment via web & mobile for Coventry University and its Academic Partners.

• Support the development and implementation of a Global Student Story site, assist the department its partners with the development and writing of content, blogs and guest posts.

• Monitor and maintain the accuracy and consistency of marketing information relating to the department and its partners both on and offline. Assist in the maintenance, updating and review of the Global Study web pages on the main website.

• To support Partnership Managers and the Partnership Recruitment in the coordination of activities in preparation of overseas visits and events, including advertising, website updates and other activity as required.

• Assist in the monitoring of marketing budgets allocated to the designated partner institutions.

• Manage and co-ordinate key business development and marketing projects for the wider department as required.

Person Specification:

• Educated to undergraduate degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or other related field plus 1-2 years’ experience in a marketing role OR minimum of 3 years professional marketing experience
• Business level fluency in a European language, or Cantonese would be advantageous
• Demonstrated background in content management, creative writing, advertising concepts, print, and digital advertising.
• Experience in digital and offline marketing channels including PPC and Social media
• Experience in social media content creation and management
• Experience of copy-writing for social media, email, websites (short–form copy writing
• Experience in managing integrated campaigns across multiple social media channels
• Experience writing copy for marketing literature (longer form copy writing)
• Experience in creating and managing social media advertising campaigns
• Experience using a CMS for web editing and basic web programming
• Experience of using Adobe In-Design, Photoshop etc
• Ability to prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects and competing work demands.
• Ability to see the “big picture” while managing several small projects
• Ability to curate marketing materials, from newsletters to print publicity, videos and social media posts
• Strong creativity and marketing skills.
• Ability to generate multiple and varied ideas
• Ability to foster good working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholder
