The London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) is the manufacturer of the iconic London Black Cab which is utilised in over 40 major cities worldwide. We have an exciting future ahead our parent company Zhejiang Geely Holding Group have invested £325m to manufacture a brand new range extended zero emission capable all-electric taxi which will be built in a brand new facility at Ansty Business Park, Coventry. The facility is the size of 11 football pitches and incorporates the latest construction and environmental technologies!


Department – Retail Sales

Reporting to – Customer Relationship Manager

Location – Brewery Road, London, N7

Given our ambitious and exciting growth plans for the future we are looking for a Customer Relationship Sales Executive to join the London Retail team to sell both our existing TX4 diesel Taxi and the new all-electric Taxi. We are looking for someone who has previous sales experience ideally from within the motor industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a great team in London as we move into the all-electric vehicle market.

The role

To provide excellent advice and support to customers throughout the entire sales process from initial sale through to aftersales.

Role responsibilities

Provide an excellent central point of contact for customer general enquiries
Advise and support customers throughout the entire sales process (initial sale, excellent vehicle handover through to aftersales) demonstrating ownership and personal responsibility for the customer’s retail experience

Ensure that the customer relationship remains the key focus of all transactions
Ensure that all activities are directed at improving the customer experience, whilst also being effective, logical and maximising profit

Diligently strive to understand the customer’s needs and provide knowledge and awareness of all relevant products and services

Be required to introduce, follow up and complete sales leads and prospects, produce accurate part exchange appraisals and finance products

Maximising opportunities by interacting with customers through a variety of channels including telephone, face to face, on the taxi ranks and at events

Ensure monthly and quarterly targets are met, working with the Sales Manager and Sales Team to ensure dealership achievement of target

Demonstrate innovation and initiative, and be a passionate advocate for the company, its values and objectives

Actively engage in creating and developing internal relationships to improve own experience and knowledge and therefore add value to customer’s journey
To be able to cover a wide geographical area

Saturday working may be required in the future

The person

Ideally previous experience of the motor industry

Good IT skills i.e. word, excel, outlook etc.

Full UK Driving License
