Our Client, a World recognised, and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in Gaydon are actively seeking a professional and experienced Procurement Development Analyst on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Global Procurement & Supply Chain Manager, as a key member of the Global Procurement & Supply Chain Development function you will support the Global Procurement & Supply Chain Development Manager by obtaining, analysing and reporting the data required for implementing the controls and measures that drive the delivery of the Procurement Department’s strategic short, medium and long-term objectives.

You will also take responsibility for producing management reports and presentations, based on their key performance indicators and drivers, to provide visibility of the department’s performance against their key objectives. The information you produce will be directly used to drive the Procurement organisation to achieve these objectives and will play a pivotal role in operating the controls and measures that form the roadmap for the Procurement department going forward.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
-Support the Global Procurement & Supply Chain Development Manager and Senior Buyer with data and reporting requirements.
-Analyse detailed data and translate this data into meaningful summaries.
-Develop and maintain their key Procurement KPI’s, across all Procurement functions.
-Support the department in translating the businesses strategic requirements into clearly defined processes, where performance can be monitored and measured against expected results.
-Develop appropriate, repeatable and efficient analytic tools and reporting methodologies to recurrently capture performance data against current and upcoming strategic objectives and key performance indicators.
-Maintain and regularly update their key Procurement KPI’s, producing a monthly management report to be issued to director and senior management team.
-Regularly update project charter documents and presentations for Procurement-led strategic programs, tactics and workstreams of major executive-level strategies and forums.
-Support the development of Procurement Department Scorecard and regularly update this to reflect monthly management performance information.
-Produce annual Production Spend forecasts, integrating voluminous data from multiple sources, and utilise this information for spend and supply base analysis and target-setting activities.
-Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to identify and locate key data required to develop and maintain Procurement Development reports.
-Become adept at utilising internal ERP and cost saving management systems to run relevant extracts for reporting and analysis.
-Play an instrumental role in enabling the function to achieve its business objectives, through meeting or ideally exceeding defined objectives.

Qualifications and Experience ideally required:
-Ideally educated to Degree level, preferably in line with the role requirements.
-Must be highly computer literate, specifically in use of Excel to manage and manipulate large volumes of data from multiple sources.
-Ability to automate and link charts, run pivot tables and develop advanced nested functions is essential. Knowledge of Macros would be an advantage.
-Previous Procurement/ Finance/ Analyst experience is desirable.
-Understanding of the strategic role of the Procurement function and ability to work at this level.
-Knowledge in running KPI’s and measuring performance – strong analysis skills required.
-Good communication and interpersonal skills.
-High degree of numeracy would be an advantage.
-Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines to produce reports and management information to schedule.
-Post holder should hold a full driving licence and be prepared to travel where their specific work responsibilities require.
